James Allen Sousa
Vice President of Critical Environments

James serves as the Vice President of Critical Environments for the Critical Solutions Group Division of BGIS.  He served in the US Navy’s Nuclear Power Program at the beginning of his career and has spent 17 years working in data center environments performing operations and commissioning. He has developed an extremely well-rounded expertise in all facets of data center design and construction which includes, but is not limited to, fire detection and suppression systems, UPS systems, power distribution units, static switches, emergency generators, electrical distribution systems, cooling towers, air conditioning units, chill water systems, pump packages, and air handling ventilation systems.


Jimmy Gaines
Vice President of Operations

As Vice President of Operations Jimmy is responsible for the day to day operations of our field personnel.  He is responsible for maintaining the culture and quality within our company.  He has over 17 years of experience in the operation, design, and commissioning of critical facilities.  Prior to joining Critical Solutions Group, Jimmy was in the hospital industry, managing the Wellstar Health Systems Data Center in Marietta, Georgia and the Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia, a 385 bed Acute Care Hospital with a 20 acre campus and 2,000,000 sq.ft. of maintained space. 


Henry Ford
Director of Strategic Accounts

As Director of Strategic Accounts, Henry will primarily focus on identifying and increasing commissioning opportunities within our core business market – mission critical facilities.  He has over 32 years of project/program management experience for mission critical facilities integration, commissioning and operations. Henry is a 20-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served as an avionics technician and controller. 


Richard Cummings, QCxP, LEED AP
Director of Operations

As Director of Operations, Richard reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and is responsible for the day to day operations, professional development, and training of our field personnel.  He has experience in construction, operations, testing, and commissioning in mission critical environments.  Prior to joining Critical Solutions Group, Richard served in the United States Navy’s Nuclear Power Program for 29 years.
