Business Impact Analysis
Inventory and analysis of your organization’s business functions designed to assess the potential impact of losing these functions if the organization were to experience a business continuity event. Data collected includes the recovery time objective (RTO) and recovery point objective (RPO) of each function.
Business Continuity Strategies and Implementation Planning
Using data from the Business Impact Analysis, the identification of possible strategies for recovering business processes (including technology and staff functions) and how to implement them. Includes recommendations for recovery resources, plans, and procedures as well as a ‘road map’ to guide the sequence of implementation.
Plan Development
Development and documentation of the plans, procedures, and resources necessary to realize the selected recovery strategy. Plans are developed using best practices in the continuity field and are designed to meet the RTOs and RPOs identified in the Business Impact Analysis.
Plan Testing
Preparation for and execution of detailed tests of the recovery procedures and resources. The testing methodology includes identification of all test participants, documentation of test objectives, development of a test time line and detailed test scripts, test execution management, post-test reviews, and test issue follow up.
